the PARK (Ekstra Bladet): Goodbye and thank you!

FC Copenhagen finished in the Europa League. They got neither help or managed to cope with their own task on Thursday night in the Park.

the last home match against Bordeaux ended up very symptomatic for FCK’s european autumn without Danish scores, and Stale Solbakkens crew now have only the League to concentrate on.

There have offensive profiles as Fischer, Forest and’N ‘ Doye sprudlet, but in Europe against opponents of higher caliber, it has been a completely different story, and therefore it was not to a 1/16-finale in this game.

FCK hit the post twice against the French, but had to see themselves defeated 1-0 on a beautiful hælscoring by Jimmy Briand in 73. minutes.

Both teams were forced to win in the Park and should at the same time hope that Zenit St petersburg. Petersburg did them a service in Prague to beat Slavia.

Faith didn’t work great with the Bordeaux fans. It was not many who had the trip to Copenhagen, whereas there were well filled up on FCK’s fantribuner.

European football has a special attraction in the capital, and the supporters sounded at least as someone who believed in the miracle.

the Prerequisites, however, were not improved by the fact that Andras Bjelland had to hobble off after only seven minutes.

Defense has been the FCK’s primary strength in this european campaign, but the target score tells also all about the offensive problems.

Just three goals in five group stage matches was the copenhageners noted before the purge, and they had difficulty to create something from the strong, athletic Bordeaux-people.

FCK had the ball much, but the best you can say about 1. half-time was that it was intense and marked by fine forsvarspræstationer.

the scoring opportunities they got 18.209 spectators in the Park only one of the. In injury time knocked the tireless Dame N’Doye ball on to the post.

bore draw at the break in Copenhagen, while Slavia with two scores against Zenit had settled the cases in the Czech capital.

Only the honor and the european koefficientpoint was therefore at stake in 2. half, as FCK also dominated.

Andreas Cornelius got nothing to work with in front of Bordeaux, which were very rare guests in Stephan Andersen’s field.

the home Team would most, but Pieros Sotiriou is just as dangerous as a Luciakrans with LED bulbs and abused a great option button half-way by stepping in the ball.

With twenty minutes once again hit Robert Woods with a felt, flat end of the inside of the post. The ball rolled along the line, but passed it never.

It pulled up to the copenhagen scoring, but in the 73. minute beat Bordeaux as cold as ice.

Substituted Pierre Bengtsson was too easily rounded by Karamoh and in front of the goal scored Briand stylish with the heel.

Thanks to the 1-0 victory ending Bordeaux in front of the FCK in the pot, but could otherwise use the three points to anything.

Slavia beat Zenit 2-0, so it was also an au revoir in Copenhagen…
