Even an evening with a paralysed british parliament on Monday evening to vote on the four guiding alternatives to Theresa Mays and the EU brexitaftale, the last week was rejected. For the third time.
But not tonight, it managed to reach a consensus: All four proposals were defeated.
the house of Commons took a permanent customs union, a brexitaftale patterned after the Norwegian model, a referendum that would confirm the brexit in a withdrawal from the european UNION, as well as an extension of the period of negotiation in accordance with article 50.

Particularly the proposal for the customs union lost narrowly. With just the votes it has, perhaps, a chance, when the house of Commons on Wednesday, by all accounts, once again, to vote on the alternative proposal.

After the vote, a clearly touched Nick Boles of the conservative party, which together with Labour’s Stephen Kinnock asked the Common market 2.0-the proposal up in the chamber, and left his lot:
– I have failed. And it is mainly because my party refuses to compromise. I must therefore, with regret announce that I no longer can sit for this party, it sounded from Nick Boles in a trembling voice, before he migrated to the shared applause, as well as a: ‘do not Nick’.
