Hiphopbröderna Salazar – known as DJ’s, rappers and producers behind the artists such as Mando Diao, Ison & Fille, Mohammed Ali, Big, Labyrinth, and Linda Pira – will have left her studio and Redline Recordings in Norsborg. But their vinylsamling, which encompasses everything from reggae, funk, soul, world music and jazz to rock and pop is now being spread to the wind.
Hehe, we think on the contrary. This collection has been in the basement a long time and is no longer of any direct use when we are not djs with vinyls or sampler as much as we did in the 90’s, ” says Salla, who looks säljbeslutet as a way to bring an entire era of music on.
– Many of these albums are ones you wanted to buy when I was in my teens, but couldn’t afford it. When we got there so we bought all the hip hop classics and we found them just when someone sold his entire collection to a record store. Maybe somebody who has been searching a long time to find some cds in our collection now and get inspired. We send them on, as a baton.
on Monday night, when the news of the sale was released, there were many who began to call to check if they could get in advance and check through everything (laughs). But everyone gets the same chance, it should be so.

” Nah, the discs have been valuable for us in order that we worked and used them as references, for example, when we worked with Mando Diao. But today, we use Youtube, Spotify or other services for it. Moreover, it goes faster than to produce a vinyl record. Though we will certainly continue to go into the record stores and check anyway.
” Not a single one. But most of them are all over the web.
“We are focusing a lot on working with songwriters and other styles of music instead of keep on sajna new artists all the time,” says Salla Salazar.
” in the Past, it was a private label for the industry was a jungle, in the day, there is a good standard for how to get paid to make music. We want to focus on ourselves now and the music that we like.
