On Sunday there will be written the history in the best French football league, when a match for the first time to be judged by a woman.
So is Stéphanie Frappart been assigned the responsibility to manage the battle, when Amiens at home takes against Strasbourg in Ligue 1.
It enlightens the French Football federation (FFF) according to AFP news agency.
The 35-year-old Frappart has since 2014 been a judge in France’s second best league. At the time, she was the first woman to judge fights on the level in France.
Frappart will also be among the judges at this summer’s WORLD cup in female football. The tournament held in France.
According to the FFF is a desire from The International Football federation (Fifa), to Frappart gain experience in Ligue 1. Thus, she can prepare the best possible way to the WORLD cup.
It is rare that the women acting as judges at the highest level within herrefodbold. But the same has happened in Germany.
Bibiana Steinhaus became the first female judge in one of Europe’s best leagues, when she in september 2017 fit the flute in bundesligakampen between Hertha Berlin and Werder Bremen.
