The number of forest fires in the Amazon basin in the North of Brazil is decreased according to the authorities in October to a record minimum. The Brazilian Institute for space research (Inpe) gave the number of forest fires in the area for the past month with 7855. So few forest fires in the Amazon rain forest in October since records began in 1998.
