Games you May have at home are still some old video games lying around, but if they in value and can be purchased for this copy of Super Mario Bros., remains to be seen. The video game for Nintendo from 1985, this month in the United States was auctioned for the crazy amount of 100.150 dollar, or more than 88,000 euros. And all because the packaging has a very special sticker.
The video game was sold by American auction house Heritage Auctions. Six buyers joined forces and offered together 100.150 dollar. They are now partly owner of the NES game. One of the buyers, Zac are Going, the manager of a store that retrogames sell, compared the game with the very first edition of the Superman comic strip. “[This] is something that I really thought I would never see, even after I had already twenty years of vintage video games bought.”

What makes this game so special? It is a extremely rare version of one of the first video games for the NES (Nintendo Entertainment System). The first video games for the Nintendo were issued in iconic black boxes, with a pixelated drawing. At some of those first releases were the boxes not wrapped in plastic, but sealed with a small black sticker on the top of the box.
