“Orbán’s spokesman: Hungary is not the black sheep”

“The Hungarian prime minister Viktor Orbán’s spokesperson and state secretary Zoltan Kovács got to meet the parliamentary foreign affairs committee, but no one from the government during his visit here.”

“If you don’t want to meet us, then stop to use us as the black sheep of your political agenda,” says Kovács.”

“He is then in 2014 the mostly for the Hungarian government’s view of the world and respond to criticism against the development in Hungary in the international media.”

“During his visit in Sweden, the first in his role, he had wanted to meet someone at their level in the Swedish government offices. However, according to the foreign MINISTRY’s press service had prime minister Stefan Löfvens secretary of state a full calendar.”

Strandhäll had on Twitter criticized the Hungarian family policy, a policy that Kovács say is governing for the country’s political priorities.”

“– It was not us who started, ” says Kovács, who often criticise the Swedish immigration and integration policies, and don’t mind that Sweden is used as a cautionary example, in Hungary.”

“– Integration in Sweden will not work, ” he says.”

“Relations in the economic sphere and in the business world he describes, however, that”

“But he is generally negative towards the Swedish government, and as he denotes them, Brysselbyråkrater or vänsterliberaler in western Europe, which criticises Hungary for such things as lack of freedom of the media, the politicisation of the courts or corruption. It is based on false premises and the critics forget that the support of the government and the Fidesz, after three straight landslide victory, is strong, he claims.”

“– I and several others feel a strong concern for the developments in Hungary, but Zoltan Kovács do, of course, that they are doing everything right, ” says Kenneth G Forslund (S), chairman of the parliamentary foreign affairs committee, after the committee’s meeting with the Hungarian representative of the government.”

“Sverigedemokraten Björn Söder do think, however, that there was a clarification meeting that dispels the misconceptions and contradicts it, which according to him spread on the situation in Hungary of the media, the government and other Swedish parties.”

“Viktor Orbán, born in 1963, has been the prime minister of Hungary since may 2010, when his conservative party Fidesz won over 50 per cent of the votes. Orbán has subsequently been criticized on the basis of tougher pressregler and government control over the courts, but at home has become popular with the help of an improving economy and tough stance against migrants and refugees. He also led the country first as prime minister from 1998 to 2002.”
