A majority of the Dutch people wants throughout the year, the winter persist. That according to a poll by the Dutch government.

From a flitspeiling among more than 1,800 Dutch people, conducted on behalf of the minister Kajsa Ollongren of Home Affairs shows that 41 percent are in favour of permanent winter. 27 percent have a preference for the daylight saving time.

Only 24 percent of the respondents want to continue with the twice a year clock transitions. That last outcome has exactly the preference of businesses and institutions, the Dutch ministry has also consulted. Representatives of, among others, the agriculture, transport and tourism to think that the transition to a permanent time costs more than delivers.
