FC Bayern meets Manchester City with former Munich coach Pep Guardiola in the quarter-finals of the Champions League. That was the result of the draw on Friday in Nyon. City just knocked out RB Leipzig 7-0 in the round of 16 second leg. The round of the last eight teams will be held on 11./12. and 18./19. April.
The possible semi-final opponents have already been drawn. Should Bayern manage their quarter-final task, they will meet the winner of the duel between Real Madrid and Chelsea in the semi-finals.
This means that there is already an Italian or Portuguese finalist. The second semi-final will be contested by the winners of the duels Inter Milan – Benfica Lisbon and AC Milan – SSC Napoli. The semi-finals will take place on September 9th and 10th. and on 16./17. The final will take place in Istanbul on June 10th.
