The well-known British balloonist and scientist Julian Richard Nott is Tuesday to life after an accident with a hot air balloon in the American state of San Diego. He has more than 79 ballonwereldrecords to his name.

Last weekend landed Nott with a self-designed hot-air balloon, which was provided with a special booth. Three hours after the landing, when he was cleaning, came across the cabin at him. Nott was transferred to the hospital, but died several days later of his injuries.

One of Notts records is a record of 16.764 meters with a hot-air balloon. Two years ago, on his 72nd, he made a duo jump of a whopping 9.727 metres from a plane.
