The Danish shipping company DFDS will from 25. June to begin sailing between Frederikshavn and Oslo.
The new route will be operated by DFDS’ two well-known Oslobåde Pearl Seaways and Crown Seaways, which in the future will dock in Frederikshavn during the voyage between Copenhagen and Oslo.
the Route between Copenhagen and Oslo has been put on hold due to the outbreak of the coronavirus.
There is, however, not a crossing between Copenhagen and Frederikshavn. There are thus two routes.
There are planned daily departures from Copenhagen at 14:00 and from Frederikshavn at. 23:30 with arrival in Oslo at. 9:00 am.
There will be daily departures from Oslo at 12:00 with arrival in Frederikshavn at 22:00 and in Copenhagen. 9:00 am.

According to DFDS are the target audience for the new route first and foremost passengers with transportation needs. Facilities and the experience on board adapted to the target audience.
at the same time, the route between Copenhagen and Oslo to a greater extent than in the past also focus on the transportpassagerer when it reopens.

Norway is one of the three countries, as the danes can travel to without restrictions in the summer.

The competing shipping company Stena Line have sailed the route between Frederikshavn and Oslo for more than 40 years, but then in march had to close down the route permanently due to the coronavirussen.
