the Third time commits.
And it is just 3. generation of Jabra’s flagship in-ear headphone Elite 65t, the other day and was launched during the CES in Las Vegas.
As Ekstra Bladet wrote after our first look at the headphones in the UNITED states, had all the promises from the Danish-owned company, however, through a sample, before we really assess the product. It has been now.
The last weeks we have tested the model, which comes in at a quite crowded market.
Here is the Apple AirPods dominant and has become a reference for wireless headphones, many are going to buy. But it is also a quite an average product, which you can’t say about the Elite 65t.
the Design is elegant, and considerably nicer than Apple’s toothbrush models. And so sits the Elite 65t really well in the ears.
We have previously tested the top model E8 from B&O Play, where the sound were praised, but our ears were never friends with the earplugs. Here is Elite 65t, on the contrary, both when it comes to fit, construction and sound quality.
It is hard to describe how good the sound quality actually is. But it is markedly better than in the AirPods and on the same level with the E8. We are the perfect fit and the technology behind the headphones near the sound quality you get out of the costly on-ear models.
On the Jabra Elite 65t, you can control the volume, activate voice control and control the playing of music and sound from the small buttons on the right and left unit.
the Headphones also have electronic noise reduction, which among other things helps to improve the sound quality during phone conversations.
the Operation of all the functions seem logical and is not burdened by touch-operation, all to easy to perform the wrong thing.
Here is the headphones, which can easily be operated via the small buttons, which are integrated in the devices. PR photo
As you probably already guessed, the headphones are charging, although they can easily keep to five hours of continuous activity. And here comes the included case into the picture.
The first week we fought to understand how to open the case (you squeeze together at the top and promises, ed.). It should be easier without the guesswork and many vain attempts not to crack the nails.
It also requires getting used to put the headphones down in the box, where it requires that you hit the right hole and the right position – the right or the left.
A discreet colour coding in the case and on just one of the headphones, could make this exercise easier. And a USB-C wire, above the old micro-USB, which the Jabra has chosen, had been a delicious choice as the default in the case.
this is the menu, which you can control the bass and treble. It must be made easier and more logical for all of us, not thinking about sound in hertz.
Elite 65t is, of course, supported by an app, as the headphones without problems was connected with.
But you can see that Jabra has technicians employed. For the equalizer you are using to control the sound quality with the requires technical acumen.
I’m afraid that a part of the ‘regular’ users are going to give a little lost when they need to have greater technical insight to understand how they get more or less bass and treble on the model.
there is a need for easier equalizer settings, which all can understand and use, thank you.

the Jabra Elite 65t is in our estimation one of the best wireless headphones on the market right now with room for some improvements.
in Addition to the case and easier for the equalizer in the app, we saw two things that a firmware update hopefully can fix.
During our testing on both the iPhone, iPad and Android phones the sound was out of sync, when we saw the Youtube videos. We have tried in vain to find an answer as to where the problem lies, but it is, of course, unsustainable.
the Jabra has not heard, that the problem should be the same at all Elite 65t, so that we can, of course, be affected by, that we have tested one of the first models.
The same applies to our experience of, to the left ørekop sometimes lose the connection. Only solution here was to put it back in the pouch, after which the connection was restored.
According to Jabra, it should be enough to take the affected ørekop briefly out of your ear and put it back, but several times we had to therefore resort to the case. Of course, it must work every time.
