“Rolf Lassgård: ”It’s a play – deadly serious””

“– I immediately felt that it could be a film in a style – feelgood-dramakomedi – which I both like and is quite good at, if I may say so myself, ” says Mårten and continues, half-jokingly, half-seriously, that he has made films on three themes:
“– are the crimea (six Beck-movies), another is sport (”Offside”), a third is men in dresses. But the ”Cockpit” (2011) was a classic crossdressingkomedi where a man (Jonas Karlsson) dresses up as a woman to solve a problem. It is the old, ever since Shakespeare. This is about transsexuality, it is more realistic.”
