The Department of Education announced that students from Alcala studying at Universities of Granada or Jaen can apply for the complimentary Erasmus grants. UJA will manage the latter. This aid is a total of EUR2,400. It will be split into four scholarships. Two scholarships for students from Alcala studying at a Faculty at Granada, and two for those who study at Jaen.

According to the UGR, all applications must be accompanied with a photocopy the DNI, an income tax return copy, and a copy the academic record. The term is open from October 15 to 15.

In the case of applicants enrolled at University of Granada, the Department of Education will process the concession application. For those Alcala students who wish to study in the capital, the University of Jaen will take care of the arrangements. The award criteria include the per capita income, average academic grade, and length of stay at the destination university.

Casa Pineda is the location of the headquarters of the council and can provide all information. The application can be accessed on the consistory’s website. However, it is also possible to request it in the general register or at Casa Pineda.

The school transport service was established for the infant and first students on September 14. It was also started from the area. The use of masks throughout the journey is mandatory. A seat is also assigned to the student for the duration of the course.
