To avoid potential risks from the large number of people gathered around bonfires along the entire ejido coastline, the City Council has already created the security and cleaning device.

From 2:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. the 24th, 30 agents will participate in the special security device created by the Local Police Headquarters. They will also be joined by the Beach Patrols and agents in rural areas, GOAP patrols of prevention 092 as well as Civil Protection. The agents will be focusing on surveillance of beaches using off-road vehicles and monitoring the rural environment to prevent uncontrolled burning of agricultural refuse.

A total of 40 lifeguards will also ensure safety for bathers in the early morning. The 13 sanitary modules as well as the CECOR will remain open.

Francisco Gongora, the mayor, stated that the cleaning service would be strengthened and asked for citizen cooperation to collect the garbage generated during the celebrations and return as soon as possible the best conditions for use of our coast so that you can take a bath on Friday morning.

A special road, beach cleaning operation, and container collection will however be activated.
