“Several arrested for dubbelmord in Morocco”
“Three people have been arrested in the moroccan city of Marrakech suspects for the murder of a Danish and a Norwegian woman who were found dead in the mountain range of High Atlas, writes the AFP news agency. Previously sits a man in custody suspected of murder.”
“Norwegian VG has previously reported that two men were arrested on Tuesday, and it is unclear if it is the same people that the AFP is now reporting on. According to the news agency, is a total of four people in custody.”
“The murdered women were 28 and 24 years and were found dead on Monday with knife wounds in the neck, according to the Moroccan interior ministry. Both were students in a program with a major in outdoor pursuits at a university in the Norwegian Telemark, and they were found about a mile from the small village of Imlil, which many tourists start from to hike and climb in the mountains.”
“We are not aware of the circumstances, but the evidence suggests that the horror of the murders can be a terrorhandling,” says Danish prime minister Lars Løkke Rasmussen, according to Ritzau.”
