Are you one of those who only gently dipping their toes in the ocean for fear of sharks, you should probably not watch the video above.

The show currently, where a sølvtippet shark bites a diver’s head and flogs diving mask of him.

the Video is recorded by the German Peter Schneider at Rangiroa in French Polynesia in 2007, but according to the news agency AP only now published in the good quality.

Peter Schneider tells the AP that dykkergruppen suddenly was surrounded by up to six sharks.

– I could not help him, but screamed just as I saw it happen.

– When the sharks were away, swam I checked how he was. He was not injured and escaped with only a small rift on the forehead, says Peter Schneider to the AP.

According to Peter Schneider used the shark not the teeth, as if the bed in order to kill, but instead of teasing.

Peter Schneider believes, that the diver themselves were to blame for the violent clashes.

– I had no pity with the diver, for he provoked even the reaction, and he was fully aware of.

According to Peter Schneider had the diver fed the sharks to attract them and then teased the sharks.

– Often will the sharks like to tease back, and that was what happened here, says the German diver.

Potentially a sølvtippet shark dangerous to humans. They can quickly and silently move in on the prey and attack – and they will become particularly aggressive if there is food nearby.
