If Ole Gunnar Solskjær to land a permanent job as manager of Manchester United, memories of Alex Ferguson-the time lives up again.

Solskjær, who is employed as a temporary United manager in the rest of the season, will play just as attractive and offensive football as under Ferguson.

It tells the Norwegian in Saturday’s FA Cup match at home against Reading, who play in the second English series.

– If the people to the summer talk about the way Manchester plays on. If the acting reminds us of Sir Alex’s team, if it reminds us of the successful times, says Solskjær.

Ferguson was, until 2013, the United manager for nearly 27 years and advised in a number of years over Solskjær as one of the team’s popular attackers. Ferguson managed to win 38 trophies with the club.

Since the Ferguson era, United had a hard time to find a manager who has achieved the same successful heights.

In the last month was José Mourinho sacked as United manager and replaced with Solskjær, who has led United to four wins in a row.

But it applies not only to obtain victories for Solskjær, which puts the emphasis on playing attractive football.

– It is going to have to start with the way we play, because we can not verify the results. We can control how we go into the matches, and how we play, says Solskjær.

He acknowledges that the fans ultimately want to see the club win titles.

– of Course, it’s all about the trophies. If we can reach the final of the FA Cup and get a trophy. Let us see to may, whether it is a success or not.

– When you win football matches, so you are happy. But there will be harder times, and there will be harder battles, we know, he says.

Solskjær is picked in a loan agreement in Molde, where the Norwegian still has a contract.
