Liverpool-owned Taiwo Awoniyi sent to the hospital with what is supposed to be a concussion, writes the BBC.
He got namely wrong place in the showdown between Augsburg and Mainz, as Awoniyi is lent to.
Here he went up in a hovedstødsduel with Augsburg defender Felix Uduokhai, but instead the ball hit the two each other’s heads.
After the duel landed kantspilleren crooked with his neck, so he had to be transported from the field with the headrest.
On Twitter write club, that he spend the night at the hospital as a precaution.
According to the BBC the club has announced that the player would be conscious.

Awoniyi has yet to debut for Liverpool since the arrival of ‘The Red’ in 2015.
The 22-year-old nigerian, in turn, appeared 12 times this season for Mainz, as he is hired out to the rest of the season.
He has been loaned out to FSV Frankfurt, the NEC in the Netherlands as well as Royal Excel Mouscroun and Ghent in Belgium.
the Showdown between Mainz and Augsburg was won by the latter by 1-0.
