A stolen backhoe was late on Saturday night parked at the bottom of the Ammoniakhavnen outside Fredericia and had to be pulled up by the fire department.
Police have arrested four men, who among other things is suspected to have stolen rendegraveren and run it in the water – but it is not the only mischiefs, which the police suspect them of having committed.
The four men were caught by police as they tried to move a utility trailer that was not their own.
– We have a reviewer who wonder about something running with a backhoe and a car that has to be tightened properly a trailer. We run out to check what it can go out on, and rendegraveren is not to find, tells vagtchef Halfdan Kramer from Sydøstjyllands Police.
– We will then find four men who are going to tow a personnel carrier away. They are arrested, for the belongs to out on a construction site.
even Though the police did not rendegraveren in the first place, they are of the firm belief that the arrested person has stolen rendegraveren and laid it to rest in the little belt.
– When we get them questioned, it turns out that they supposedly have been running around on rendegraveren, and it is so ended up with to get in the water, finds vagtchefen.
– Whether it is an accident, or whether it is deliberate, I don’t know.
The four men can now look forward to being charged with theft and possibly vandalism.
