‘Then there is the opportunity to own a piece of Danish film history. ‘THE’ house from Antboy-the trilogy is for sale!
assume that the key to his super villains basement and the serum that created Antboy is included in the price. Not quite cheap, but with the government’s great stimulus and 1000 dollars extra to selected it will probably go.’
So writes the director Ask Hasselbalch with a twinkle in the eye in a posting on Facebook about an old cozy unique håndværkertilbud, which is put up for sale for 18 million dollars in the beautiful Krathuskvarter in Charlottenlund, north of Copenhagen.
the House was used in all three Antboy movie, where it was used as superskurken ‘The’ private home.
For Extra Magazine tell Ask Hasselbalch following about the importance of the old house in Charlottenlund really have had for his filmtrilogi:
– It is a stunningly beautiful place, which has had a big impact on the films. The house is perhaps the most important place in the whole of the ‘Antboy’-trilogy. It is the place superheroes-the story originates from. It is the house where the Flea in his basement to make the serum, which makes that Pelle Nørhmann (Antboy) gets his superhero powers, tells Ask Hasselbalch and adds:
‘Antboy’ is bitten by an escapee forsøgsmyre in the house and garden, and throughout the film series he turns back to the house for various reasons. Throughout the climax of ‘Antboy 2: The red furies revenge’ going on inside the house, and ‘Antboy 3’ ends in front of the house on the villavejen, where all the Danish superheroes/supervillains say goodbye. From the price, I hope the key to his superskurkekælder, and the serum that gave Antboy its kæfter, is included in the price, says Ask Hasselbalch.
