Investigators are targeting members of a nudist club on suspicion of producing and possessing child pornography. The investigations are aimed at three suspects aged 43, 46 and 62 and a separately pursued 43-year-old, as the police and public prosecutor in Berlin announced on Tuesday.
They should be members of the association, which among other things invites eight to 18-year-olds to take part in leisure activities. Since January 2017, various excursions and six multi-day trips have been organized in the nudist club, in which children and young people also took part. According to the investigation, hundreds of image files of naked children were taken on these trips. Many of them are said to show “unnaturally sexed postures”, according to the authorities.
On Tuesday there were searches in Lower Saxony, Brandenburg and Berlin under the leadership of the Berlin State Criminal Police Office. According to the information, a large amount of evidence was confiscated, including six mobile phones, 18 hard drives, almost a dozen tablets and notebooks and several cameras.
