The Canton of Vaud SP-politician, Géraldine Savary had the Council of States Bureau before the eyes. But then, their party had to admit that they had accepted for their Council of States election campaign in 2011, more money and, therefore, against a party’s internal policy failed. In November 2018 Savary drew the consequences. She was known to forgo a new candidacy. In their place, the Bernese, Hans Stöckli is Chairman of the small chamber.
Instead of the Council of States Bureau assumes Savary, the bureaux at the Federal film Commission and the Supervisory Commission on the Post (PostCom). She has given last week in an Interview in the newspaper “24 Heures” known, even before the Federal Council channeled their Nomination for the bureaux official.

The development, that Federal councillors to nominate their Departments like to party members for Supervisory posts, see Michel Huissoud Director Swiss Federal audit office (sfao), is critical. After the outbreak of the post-car affair, he said in an Interview with this newspaper: “From the Credibility and independence reasons you should be at the choice of the politically committed people are very reserved. It doesn’t matter which party it affects. The people should be primary, due to their personal competence, due to their ethics and loyalty to the Confederation as owner and the public Service chosen. People who apply only because of your salary or career prospects for those Items, for me are not the best candidates for Federal companies.”
