Britta Nielsen’s fraud in the national board of social services is more extensive than it previously has been promoting.

It appears by an external audit examination, which has just been published.

According to the survey runs the fraud up in total button 120,6 million. kr. and goes all the way back to 1993. Previously the Ministry of social affairs estimated that there was talk about the fraud of 111 million. kr., and that it had been done from 2002-2018.

In the report’s executive summary, it becomes even noticed that the actual fraud is likely to have been even more comprehensive.

’the national board of social services discovered the irregular payments in september 2018 at an accounting, and there are issues back to 1993. The documentation of the money trail is sparse – especially before the introduction of Navision (accounting, ed.) in 2002. It is likely that there is defrauded of more than uncovered – especially in the early years. Having found an abuse for a total of button 120,6 million.,’ it sounds in the report from the audit firm PwC.

Britta Nielsen has worked at the agency since 1977.

‘We can therefore not exclude the possibility that BN (Britta Nielsen, ed.) also the unduly paid grant funds to own accounts in the period 1977 to 1993,’ writes PwC in the report.
