“HOLLYWOOD. Six years ago, was hand-picked to the Swedish Idol producer Per Blankens to the united states as the executive producer for ”American idol.”

” It has been great to be here. Now it’s going to be great to come home, ” says Blankens, 47, when Nöjesbladet meets with him at an outdoor café in West Hollywood.”

” The big challenge was to get renewed confidence. I am so glad that we got to drive on for a further year. After it got Fox new managers that wanted to bet on the drama. Netflix had just started ”House of cards,” and they realized that the future is drama.”

“When the Idol is now turning 15 TV4 announced that it is looking for talent in a deeper way, in the new cities. Förturnén started in the Shed Saturday 9 February and ends in Stockholm on Sunday 31 march. In between visited Motala, Växjö, sweden, Harnosand, Hudiksvall, Borlänge, sweden, Karlskoga in addition to Malmö and Gothenburg. The jury is as last year.”
“Renewed ”Idol,” Blankens at the controls starts in the fall. Prior to that the family’s house in Los Angeles sold and all shipped home. The flight will go when the spring semester in the schools is the end of the year.”
