the EU’s heads of state and government at a summit in Brussels on Thursday afternoon and evening accepted a model of the postponement of brexit. It confirms the president of The European Council, Donald Tusk.
He wrote on Twitter shortly before midnight, there is a consensus.

According to the Austrian chancellor, Sebastian Kurz, will be there talking about a so-called double-deadline:
If the british approves the Theresa Mays agreement with the EU in the european parliament next week, is the deadline 22. may. If it fails, have the british instead of only 12. april, after which they must decide whether they will participate in the European Elections, and may ask for a longer postponement.

Danish prime minister Lars Løkke Rasmussen says, to the EU’s landechefer have stretched as far as humanly possible to help the british in the brexit-need:
– What we have decided today, keeps all options open in the Uk. We have met Theresa May, as far as we possibly can, legally, say Loop according to Ritzau.
– The longest period we can give, is 22. may, and we have given under the condition that the House vote yes to the agreement. If they vote yes, we would like to provide an extension to the 12. april, says the prime minister.
