In a controversial and never-before-heard-about feature, the islands have chosen to shut down for tourism.

It will happen in the last weekend in april, and no tourists or outsiders will be allowed to come to the islands.

And on the Faroe islands 18 islands of 1399 square kilometers becomes the marked trails and special spots quickly trampled.

Here you will among other things, focus on making new hiking trails, create more security at view posts, which also maintains the environment, set up signage and præservere bird life.
