There is a conflict headwind for A. P. Møller – Mærsk after a set of accounts that shows vækstfattige aspirations for 2019. The expectations for 2019 can be found in the financial statements, which have been put forward on Thursday.
Shortly after the accounts arrived, dropped both Mærsks a – and B-share by over seven percent.
the Accounts, which came almost an hour later than expected, contained a forecast for 2019, which sounds more of the same as in 2018.
Operating profits for 2019 is only expected to grow marginally next year. The modest expectations comes after Maersk has tried to change his business, so the to a greater extent focuses on the transport and not the energy.
In connection with the financial statements set Maersk also the date of when the part of the business, working with drilling rigs, are being unleashed on the stock exchange. Maersk Drilling comes in trading 4. april.
In 2018 traded Maersk for 39 billion dollars and got a profit of 3.2 billion u.s. dollars.
