There is no war or destruction, that are portrayed on the winner of this Year’s press photo 2018. In turn, it is full of glitter and glamour and yes a good dose of reality.
In all, 2545 images were submitted to the competition, but it was Bax Lindhardts picture of three fun-loving realitystjerner, who ran with the price.
But behind the festive exterior hides a sad reality. At least, it was the jury’s assessment, when they had to describe why it was this picture that ran with the victory.
the Image contains, according to them, is also an issue. It shows that today’s realityverden is partying, but the longer you look at the picture, the more distressing it gets, believe the. It is a mirror to a reality where the young family seeking attention and recognition, sounds it.
‘It celebrates not the development, but the dishes the hard flashlight toward it. The picture is both fantastic and terrible’ sounds in the jury’s justification.
Realitydeltager Phillip May, which even appear in the picture, however, is not entirely in agreement with the jury’s assessment. Extra Blade catches him shortly after the announcement of the winner:
– It is for the game. I have just heard it. Now I come to hang at The Royal Theatre forever. It is damn a fat image, and one must say, we’ve earned the champagne, he says enthusiastically.

Despite the immediate pleasure, is Philip, as mentioned, not entirely in agreement with the jury’s assessment, but perhaps there is a bit of truth behind it, he realises.
– Some of it might be true enough, but I did it damn well is not for attention. I poured just champagne on the girls, because I thought they were too rigid and too stupid to listen to. So they just had to have a wash, laughs Philip May and continues:
– However, you should shoot the smear campaign against one or another, and it ends up damn always to be reality-the world. But the people who are, in reality, they have fun together, and there is a reason that it only gets bigger and bigger in Denmark.
In fact, Philip May the right don’t care what others think about him, he stresses.
– I take it damn not so personally, I do the things I do, because I think it is fun, and then I basically don’t care what others say. So that it decidedly would be a sad thing, it seems I’m damned sure not. I think it is funny that such a picture can be this year’s press photo. It says more about them than it says about us, ” he concludes.
