The victory of the PP in a conservative territory like the Roquetas De Mar was assumed to be a given. It had already won this title in 2018, at the heights of the so-called Vox effect’. Vox has fallen very slightly leaving the PSOE in third place with a slight drop. This result can be traced back to Vicar and La Mojonera. With 94% of votes counted in Roquetas de Mar the victory for the PP is undisputed. It went from 25.35% to 46.43% in 2018, which amounts to 13,485 votes. Vox, which was close to 22.60% in 2018, has risen to 23.65% (6,869 votes). The PSOE, on the other hand, fell from 17.30% three years ago to 16.62% now (4,828 voters). Participation in the Roquetero municipality has been almost identical to 2018, when 54.11% of the population voted. That is to say, 26,988 people have exercised their right of vote.
