– We have seen far more weather-related disasters due to climate change, and increasing temperatures have long term consequences for millions of people, he says to news agency AFP.
According to the united nations, 4.5 billion people have been directly affected by extreme weather since 1998.
the WMO estimates that the extreme weather has hit the 62 million people alone in 2018. The changing weather conditions led at the same time, two million people have had to leave their home.
