”the Foundation shall be perpetual”, announces Berglings surviving in a press release:
”Initially, the foundation will focus on supporting people and organisations working on prevention in the areas of mental illness and suicide. Other areas which the foundation will operate is climate, development aid, endangered nature and endangered animal species. The purpose of the foundation may be pursued both in Sweden and abroad.”
finally, Tim Bergling wanted to make a difference: ”we’re launching the foundation in tim’s name is a way to honor his memory and work of his spirit, with love, Tims family.”

Tim Bergling, known by his stage name Avicii, was born 8 september 1989. He began his career as a 16-year-old and spread his remixes of electronic music on various internet forums, a job that soon led to a record deal.
the Single ”Levels” from 2011 earned him a rapidly growing attention. The debut album ”True” which came two years later reached the top ten placements in more than fifteen countries and topped the charts in Australia, Sweden and Denmark. On the disc was the song ”Wake me up”, which reached förstaplaceringar on a wide range of listings in Europe and was for a time the most played song on the streaming service Spotify.

Bergling Grammynominerades for both ”Sunshine” with David Guetta (2012), and the ”Levels” (2013). Between 2011 and 2014, he was ranked on place 3 to 6 on the british magazine DJ Mag’s list of the world’s one hundred best djs.
He was awarded, among others, two Grammis, Musikexportpriset, Platinagitarren. Denniz Pop Awards ”Grand Prize”, the P3 Gold in the category ”Best dance” and the Best, and collaborated with artists such as Madonna, Coldplay, Lenny Kravitz, Robbie Williams, Wyclef Jean, Martin Garrix, Nicky Romero, Leona Lewis, Otto Knows and Rita Ora. Among his many famous songs include ”Waiting for love”, ”Without you”, ”Lonely together”, ”I could be the one”, ”Fade into darkness”, ”Hey brother”, ”Addicted to you” and ”Silhouettes”.
