TV2 News-host Jesper Zølck was – somewhat delayed – the victim of an April fool.

It happened Sunday morning, when he as the host of nyhedsprogrammet made a critical interview with Greve mayor, Pernille Beckmann.

the Interview was about, why the municipality did not afford more educators in crèches and kindergartens, because they give priority to spending money on everything else.

It felt Zølck in each case to know, so he said to Beckmann:

– In the user, among other things money on an expensive, 290 meters high tower in the Count.

But alas.

– I will have to correct you; it was just an April fool, came the answer from Pernille Beckmann.

Jesper Zølck then something confused, but apologized immediately afterwards.

When the Extra Leaf is in contact with him some hours after the fadæsen, he has the energy to laugh a little of it.

‘Oh, what I am thinking. Now that I agree with heppekoret for that April fools ‘ jokes comes with clear alarms and bells and neon signs – especially six days later. If someone asks borgerforslaget, I’m on. And that the municipal websites are a lurked place with the kind of traps a week later’, he writes with a twinkle in his eye in an email.

But he put himself at the same time, flat down.

‘It is manifestly in the end, my error. It was an important topic on the priorities in the municipal finance, and it derailed the interview’, he notes on the fake news.

his defence is ‘news’ about the tower not very well declared on the Greve website, where it appears that, in the newly constructed tower will be a restaurant Højdespringeren.

‘such A landmark will re-create the hype about the Count, just like the swimming pool did it when it was first built back in the 1970s. It comes to us all together for good’, says Pernille Beckmann in the April fools article.
