“Two arrested for murder of residents in Tanzania”
“Two people have been arrested by tanzanian police suspected for the murder of a Swedish man in his mid-60s, reports Göteborgs-Posten. The man who has long since been registered in the population register in Gothenburg, sweden was found dead in his home in the city of Dar-es-Salaam in december. The local police are investigating two men who they believe has attacked, robbed and murdered the man.”
“– We gather evidence in order to send them to court and prosecute them for murder, ” says police commander Richard Mchomvu, to the newspaper.”
“The two suspects deny the crime. The police has a search warrant found a gun suspected to have been used in the robbery, and the stolen goods in the form of cash and electronics. A preliminary investigation also started in Sweden, but was shut down after it is ensured that a proper murder investigation had been started in Tanzania.”
