Two children of IS-fighters are today from Turkey to Belgium, returned. This confirms the federal public service Foreign Affairs. It is going to be two girls, two and four years old.
The father of the children, IS warrior Abdelkarim Elouassaki, in Syria were killed. The mother of the girls is Amina Ghezzal (29) from Beverlo (Beringen). They fled at the end of 2017 with her children away from Syria. The woman in Turkey in the cell, where they to ten years in prison is convicted.

Because the girls in Syria are born and not a Belgian birth certificate, they could not return.
