Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine Mykhailo Fedorov praises the cooperation with the American software company Palantir Technologies in the war against the Russian aggressors. “Palantir has undertaken to help Ukraine, and so we have started negotiations about possible support and Palantir’s entry into the Ukrainian market,” Fedorov recalled in an interview with WELT AM SONNTAG about the beginning of the cooperation.

For example, the Ukrainian Armed Forces used Palantir’s software “to integrate sensor and open-source data, which is important to provide the army with more accurate and detailed targeting information so they can intelligently plan operations, saving the lives of Ukrainian defenders.” and can hit enemies with precision.”

Fedorov, who is also Minister for Digital Transformation, expects the use of the Palantir software MetaConstellation to change warfare. “The main weapons of modern warfare are not the tanks and artillery systems of the 1960s, but data and technology: drones, satellite communications, mobile devices, sensors and artificial intelligence – these are tools that change the course of war.”

The company is also pleased about the cooperation: “We are proud to develop software that supports the Ukrainian government and contributes to European security efforts,” says Palantir’s strategy chief in Europe, Jan Hiesserich.
