“It is unclear why a 21-year-old man opened fire at a bank in the small town of Sebring in Florida on Wednesday.”
“Five women were shot to death on the branch of the bank at noon, local time, four of which are stated to have been employees of the bank.”
“The suspected shooter called himself in to the monitoring station after the deed. When the police came to the place he had barricaded himself, and it took an hour of negotiations before he gave up.”
“– We have no information about what his real motives may have been. We think it was a random act. We do not believe that there was someone special that was the goal, ” says Sebrings police commissioner Karl Hoglund.”
