Haacht Minister Ben Weyts (N-VA) got it today to stick with the police in Haacht. Weyts had, however, the best intentions because he came up with a bespoke bottle of cava.
After the unlikely story about the ‘drowning bottle of’ cava minister/sluikstorter Ben Weyts in the canal Leuven-Dijle dropped at the inauguration of the new quay, to the industrial area Hambos, there had to be one or the other be corrected. Ben Weyts was, after all, a complaint to his pants, which was primarily designed to further the tradition of breaking a bottle in question. “Drink is a better option,” she said. Like a miracle came the sunken bottle still above water during a routine check-up of the sheet piling. Weyts immediately saw his chance to purifying himself of all blame. “I’m going to the bottle offer to the police.”, she said. So said so done, but that was beyond the police expected. Who was not informed of the arrival of the minister and refused to take the bottle in to take delivery. Eventually even the chief of police, Wim D’haese on the spot to the sweet peace. The bottle was then received.
