“The warning for the storm in half the country”
“It is expected to be stormy in the north of Sweden on Sunday.”

“– It gets really windy in the northern part of the country during the söndagsdygnet, and during the måndagsdygnet, ” says Sofia Söderberg, meteorologist at SMHI.”
“The stormy weather is expected to first hit the Norrlandsfjällen and then spread to the Northern inland and the coast. In the mountains is a class-2 warning for the storm issued from Sunday evening onwards.”
“– This is from Sunday night as there is expected to be as blåsigast in the mountains, it can be up to 25 metres per second, ” says Sofia Söderberg.”
“East of the mountains, the coast and the hinterland, is a class-2 warning for winds issued for Sunday afternoon and evening. Also where can byvinden up to 25 metres per second.”
“A class 2 warning for storm or winds means an average wind or gust of at least 25 metres per second. There is a risk of damage to buildings and risk to flying debris, objects. Also risk for major damage to the forest and disturbances in the traffic and electricity supply.”
