I created this lovely champagne and sparkling wine cocktail for Valentine’s Day 2009 for a well-known Chinese restaurant in Hamburg.

INGREDIENTS

2 cl Malibu

2 cl melon liqueur (available as Christiansen liqueur at www.shopvonhave.de)

4 cl Ananassaft

1 Top up with Piper Heidsieck Champagne

UTILS

Shaker, Champagnerkelch

PREPARATION

Shake everything and fill up with cold champagne. Then decorate with a red cocktail cherry and enjoy.

It doesn’t always have to be alcohol – if you prefer to stay sober on New Year’s Eve, you don’t necessarily have to drink water – and this drink might be a better choice.

INGREDIENTS

5 cl Siegfried Wonderleaf non-alcoholic gin

2 cl lime juice

10 cl Pink Grapefruitsaft

5 cl Thomas Henry Spicy Ginger

UTILS

Longdrinkglas

PREPARATION

Pour all ingredients into the glass and stir. Decorate with a lime.

As you can guess, I created this drink for our pastor – a very nice, fresh and casual drink.

INGREDIENTS

3 cl Plantation Pineapple Rum

2 cl fresh lime juice

3 cl Ananassaft

Top up with cold champagne

UTILS:

Cocktailschale, Shaker

PREPARATION

Shake everything except champagne briefly cold and strain into a champagne glass, now carefully fill up with cold champagne.

This drink is said to have been created in 1918. Its name comes from the designation of a French artillery cannon from World War I with a 75 mm caliber. It is said to have been very accurate, just like this drink – by the way my favorite cocktail!

INGREDIENTS:

2 cl Gin z.B. Henderson

2 cl lemon juice. 1 cl sugar syrup

Top up with Piper Heidsieck champagne

UTILS:

Champagnerkelch, Shaker

PREPARATION:

Shake everything except champagne and strain into a chilled champagne glass without ice, carefully top up with well-chilled champagne.
