The whole episode was pure entertainment throughout. The makeover: gorgeous! There was everything you could wish for: drama to the power of 100, tears at the sight of scissors and the realization that you were Bill Kaulitz’ doppelganger in pink. In addition, Lady Di’s little half-sister named Anya and “snip, snap, hair off” for Heidi too – she took part in the makeover for the first time during the show and had her hair cut and bleached. What more do you want?

And then the runway show of the blunders: Hold up the newspaper, wait for the spot light, undo your hair and then start walking. The models like: “I don’t care” – delicious to look at.

Sara and Tracey’s exit. I saw both of them very far ahead – I will miss both of them.

Commercial breaks five and six.

Definitely Selma. The pink hair makeover will boost her follower count. Season 16 and 17 models Romina and Vanessa have already done it in red and green. The makeover in pink-blonde is good for your face and gives you a star look. i’m a fan

“Now, let’s have a donut” – I felt that very much.

Does Elsa mean all this seriously?

A candy delivery service.

As soon as I hear the word “shitstorm” I get disgusting pimples all over my body. Criticism of GNTM everywhere, but what is ignored in all the noise are the people who stir up hatred on the net. They are rarely held accountable, are just extras in the plot, in the very back row, popcorn in hand.

Only Heidi, the production or the broadcaster are to blame. Everyone else is supposedly innocent. Expressing criticism when you don’t like the concept of the show or about things you see differently is one thing. Everyone is entitled to criticize something, with a dash of humour.

But then please illuminate all sides and don’t slide down the one-way street at 180 km/h. This doesn’t only apply to the nice masterminds who formulate offensive comments. This includes former contestants who were allegedly “flawless” on the show and showed their “(un)hysterical” side. This constant hate has to stop: wake up or go to the doctor. Might help.

The jungle has been screaming “Ellllsaaaaaaa” very loudly since episode one – she’s predestined for that. Apart from the fur gate (the background to this in episode two, editor’s note) this woman is entertaining, funny and sometimes wonderfully strange. Also in this episode she gave her inner bitch the best. For now: Bon appetit.

Who will win GNTM? After five episodes, it’s still too early to choose a winner, but currently: Selma. The pink hair color is trumps – and if Vivien develops well, I’ll hold up both hands for her too. She has a “One Million Dollar Face”.

Kilian Kerner has already experienced GNTM up close – since 2020 the designer, who shows his collections at the Fashion Week in Berlin and likes to cast Heidi’s girls for it, has been seen regularly alongside the “model mom”. This year he returns as a guest judge at Klum’s side. When he’s not writing GNTM columns, he talks about all the hair-raising details of the show on YouTube.
