A four-legged little hero. Max, a seven-year-old cat who saved his owner from the fire on Salobrena Avenue in Motril a week earlier, is currently looking for a foster family until his family moves into a new home. Max, a 7-year-old cat, saved his owner from a fire in their kitchen-dining area. Max was on the sixth floor, which is an eight-storey block. Max meowed incessantly at the bathroom door, until her owner finally came out to rescue her.
Monica, Emilia’s friend, explained that Max’s owner Max had set the fire in the bathroom and it was already affecting the living room. The entire house was filled with smoke. The cat ran into the room to escape the flames and the woman was able to locate the exit door.
The animal was taken to the veterinary clinic by the local police. Monica and her son moved in to Monica’s home until they found a suitable place. The cat now lives with them and needs a temporary home. Monica is a dog owner and Max spends most of the day in the yard. After seeing several flats, the family asks for help in housing their cat until they are able to move in. Max is “good, loving, and won’t bother.”
