County administrative boards of Jönköping and Kalmar county has decided to allow licensed hunting of lynx in 2019. In Kalmar county receives three lynx pushed, in Jönköpings län two. The hunt starts on march 1 and may at most last until 31 march.
the Hunt may take place in those parts of the counties where the stem density is greatest, which for Jönköping county is the eastern part of Värnamo municipality, as well as a small part of the Vaggeryds and Sävsjö municipalities and the Kalmar county, mainly in Mönsterås and Oskarshamn municipalities.
