This Friday, the Department of Tourism of El Ejido presented an innovative initiative to residents and visitors to Almerimar. It is a tourist train that tours the nucleus.
This service is already in operation and allows you to visit the most important places in the municipality of Ejido.
This route takes 45 minutes and stops at several places: Almerimar avenue near the residential Las Sabinas’, Darsena Conde de Barcelona third dock, Almerimar Avenue next to Almerimar avenue, residential Spirit Mar’, Flamingo Beach Bar, Arquitecto Juli Laguna avenue, Arquitecto Laguna avenue on Garza street corner, parking right next the Rugby Field
The train runs every day from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m., and 7 p.m. until midnight.
Luisa Barranco (the mayor of Tourism) said that the tourist train was “a complement that allows the possibility to discover the beauty of Almerimar and show the enclaves most touristic interest.”
He felt that even for those who already know the core, the service was a chance to uncover some of the secrets in our most important corners.
