French rugby has been hit by a tragedy.

The young talent Nicolas Chauvin is dead, after he broke his neck during søndages match for Stade Francais’ youth team against Bordeaux.

He was 19 years old.

He was addressing taken to hospital, where he was urgently operated on in the neck. But due to lack of oxygen and a cardiac arrest, although the young rugbyspiller a brain injury and was on Wednesday declared dead at the hospital.

In an official press release, which the club has issued to the relatives, write:

’today is all of our thoughts with Nicolas’ family, as all members of the club send their deepest condolences’.
