After the dispute over the future promotion of electric mobility have been agreed between the German car maker on a common line. The heads of the three car companies, Dieter Zetsche (Daimler), Harald Krüger (BMW) and Herbert Diess (Volkswagen), had agreed in a telephone conversation on Wednesday night with VDA President, Bernhard Mattes, the further course, said a spokesman for the German Association of the automotive industry (VDA) on Thursday. “The Unity is there, and it also includes Plug-in Hybrids.” Details of a position paper would now be agreed between the Association and the company and should then be published.

BMW chief Kruger had objected to Volkswagen chief Diess’ claim to a bundling of the forces in front of the conversation to the public, making it clear that he parts his point of view.
