The Swiss pharmaceutical company, Roche wants to close its production in the Brazilian city of Rio de Janeiro. The medicines factory is to be made in the next five years dense and the land will be sold thereafter, informed the company on Tuesday. In the area of Jacarepagua, located plant provides, among other things, a sedative and sleep aid for Latin America, and Europe. It currently employs 440 employees of Roche, as well as some 200 contractor. The plant in the largest country in Latin America is reported to be profitable.

Two additional sites remain
