Credit Suisse has made Changes in the leadership of the Division of investment banking and Capital Markets (IBCM). Immediately David Miller to the position of CEO and Eric Varvel was appointed as Chairman of this Division, as the Bank announced on Monday.

in Addition, Harold Bogle to the Vice-Chairman has been appointed in the Executive Committee. David Miller follows James amines, the have decided to the newly created role of head of the Department of Private Credit Opportunities to take.

this role will report amines to Eric Varvel. Miller has 22 years of professional experience in the Institute. He was Global Head of Credit, Head of Global Credit Products and a member of the Global Markets Management Committee. Prior to that, he was Global Head of Leveraged Finance Capital Markets and U.S. Co-Head of the Syndicated Loan Group.

Varvel will IBCM-Chairman

Eric Varvel, the function of the IBCM-Chairman shall assume, in addition to his existing duties as CEO of Asset Management, and President and CEO of Credit Suisse Holdings (USA). Up to now, he was about 30 years for CS and was during his career at the Bank, among other things, CEO of the investment banking Division, CEO Asia Pacific, CEO Europe, Middle East and Africa.

Harold Bogle, who was previously Chairman of IBCM, joined in 1981 at Credit Suisse and headed for various key product groups in investment banking. In the current role of Bogle’s core is a member of the Operating Committees in the investment banking Division and Capital market.
