New technology creates new opportunities. However, many German workers could cost the digitisation of the Job. The OECD sees in Germany is even higher than average number of jobs threatened and called reasons.

The digital transformation might impact in comparison with other countries on the German labour market. A study by the Organisation for economic co-operation and development (OECD), according to the threatening in the next 15 to 20 years in Germany, many Jobs, above-average wegzufallen.

18.4 percent of all German Jobs threatened

The study by the OECD, is concerned as a priority with the question of how the labour market in the 36 member countries of the Organisation through the technical developments will change. A: as a result of new technology jobs will be lost – on average, 14 percent of all Jobs and, therefore, every seventh job.
