Facebook confirms pr attack against the Soros
Facebook has confirmed that the company hired a pr agency to attack the critics.
In a blog post, written by the outgoing head of group communications, Elliot Schrage, published the details, including confirming that the republikanskflaggade pr agency Definers was hired to specifically attack the billionaire and philanthropist George Soros, a regular political target for the extreme right.
It was in the last week as the New York Times revealed, among other things, that Facebook used questionable methods to get you to the critics, for example, by accusing them of anti-semitism. In the blog post, commented on some of the allegations.
Elliot Schrage writes, among other things, that pr agencies were hired to dig out the news about the critics, but he denies that the company should have asked them to create fake news.
Facebook’s chief operating officer Sheryl Sandberg writes in a comment to the blog post that you never had any intention to disseminate anything that could be interpreted as anti-semitism.
